What is the Meridian System?

The numbers of sessions vary from person to person. It depends on the individual conditions, and it is affected by several factors
Normally, acute conditions tend to respond to acupuncture more rapidly. Those with chronic issues need more visits. The sooner you have the treatment, the less numbers of sessions you need.

The sensation caused by acupuncture needles varies. As the needles are inserted, some people feel a little pain, like a mosquito bites, but most people do not feel much at all. The needles are thin, and most acupoints are less sensitive than the finger tips.

Following is a list of a few, but not all, health conditions that acupuncture has been effective in treating:

  • Allergies
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Bladder issues (incontinence, frequent urination, infection)

How Long Does An Acupuncture  Session Take?

Our acupuncture session is 60 minutes normally. As energy flow moves slowly, it takes about twenty to thirty minutes for the system to response once the acupuncture needles are in place.

is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the oldest continuous medical systems in history. After thousands years of practice, we know acupuncture works. The success of acupuncture and TCM is evident in the growing popularity in the west and its acceptance among medical professionals.

What Are the Differences Between Our Healing System and Immune System ?

When people first hear of the healing system, they often confuse it with the immune system. Even though on one level the two systems may be difficult to tell apart because they work together in a cooperative effort, on another level they are two very different systems that serve entirely different purposes.

The fundamental difference between the two systems is that your immune system is concerned with defending your body against infections, while your healing system is responsible for repairing tissue damage from injuries or illnesses, and restoring your body to its natural state of health. Your immune system's focus is largely on attacking and protecting your body from foreign invaders. Your healing system focuses more on healing, growth, regeneration, restoring of function, and maintaining health.

Originated in China over 4,000 years ago, acupuncture therapy is an effective form of health care that has evolved into a holistic and natural medical system (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
